Welcome to Brevard Florida LiveDownload September 2010 Edition (PDF File) FEATURES BMA WINNER: OPEN FIRE Open Fire has shown some of the best virtues that keep a group together: true friendship, dedication to the music, hard work, lots of practice, incredible endurance, and most of all a shared vision. This year their effort paid off. They won the title Entertainer of the Year 2010. TROPSTOCK The TropStock festival features concerts from top music artists in the Trop-Rock genre along with a boat display, free kid’s area, business vendors and much more. Organizers hope to attract the locals along with thousands of tourists. BONNAROO: TENACIOUS D With a uniquely amazing blend of funny, seriously great musicianship and fantastic harmonies Tenacious D has become a favorite across the board for fans of any genre. MULE ROCKS THE RIVER Born as a side project out of the Allman Brothers band, and headed up by number 23 on Rolling Stone’s top 100 guitarists list Warren Haynes, Gov’t Mule has risen to a level of jam band royalty RICHARD GANGI His radio show, “Straight With Chaser,” is purposely structured to entertain jazz enthusiasts as well as grow the number of people who listen to and enjoy jazz, particularly young people.. WILLIAM H. SCHROTH His next-door neighbor gave him a small plastic kit of a little boat urging him to find a hobby that would keep his hands busy. This is what helped him to stop his two-to-three-packs-a-day smoking habit 16 years ago.
